Food bank vouchers

Our food bank works using an eVoucher referral system

Anyone can find themselves at crisis point – please don’t leave it until your cupboard is bare before you ask for help.

We work with many local agencies and professionals: local Citizens Advice and the B&NES Welfare Support Team (01225 477277), as well as GPs, Nurses, Health Visitors, Social Workers, and Church Ministers plus many more. If they feel you are struggling to put food on the table, they will issue you with a food bank eVoucher. These eVouchers can be used with any food bank in the Trussell Trust network. The local agency can also provide long term support if needed to help address some of the issues behind the reasons for your crisis.

To find out more about the agencies that can issue food bank eVouchers and how you can get help, please see this page, or contact us.

When you contact a referral agency they will take some basic details from you to complete the eVoucher. This will also help them to understand the cause of your crisis and offer practical guidance. It also helps us to prepare a suitable food parcel for the right number of people.

Once you have been issued with an eVoucher, you will be able to visit one of our centres to collect your food parcel – check out this page for opening times and day, and more info, foodbank centres.

If you are a referral agency and would like to become a registered voucher holder for our foodbank, please contact us and we’ll get you connected.
